Error code 532 in Sims 4 can be best described as an error that occurs when a broken piece of custom content or cc is chosen for the day in the game. This will make the game fail to save, and you’ll lose all your progress since the last saving point.

What is the cause of error code 532 in Sims 4?

This Sims 4 error code is caused by Trendi system, which was not built to support custom content. The Trendi system is an expansion pack that unlocks a couple of ways to play the game but has its limitations. The system does not integrate well with other mods.

Players with multiple mods using the Trendi system will likely experience error code 532 when trying to save. The Trendi system’s file extensions will likely overwrite the default save format.

How to fix error code 532 in Sims 4

From our research, there are four major ways to fix the error. Try them out until you find what works for you.

Method 1: Save your game

Once you encounter error code 532, do not quit your game. You still have a way to save your progress. However, you might lose any additional modifications.

You are guaranteed to keep the relationships built, and parts of the main story will remain intact. You must wait until the next day at 6:am in-game hours. Try and save the game at this point. This should easily fix this error.

Method 2: Remove Custom Content

This method gets a bit technical, but you can still knock it down with a few tries. You need to identify all your custom content to solve the error via this tweak. Ensure you have listed down all the cc you have made available in the game.

Review all the custom content to see which one is broken. After identifying the item, remove its rarity tag. If you cannot remove the rarity tag, you may need to delete the content permanently. A disclaimer on this: Deleting the CC permanently will impact areas of your gameplay. Content such as clothes might disappear.

Method 3: Use a mod

In the same way, modes might have made your game fail to save. They might fix it. A developer in the Sim community known as LeRoiDeTout has created a Band-aid Mod for this bug.

The mod helps players identify what Custom Content is broken in the game. Drag and drop the file to your mods folder to diagnose errors using this mod. The Band-aid mod creates a file named invalid_CAS_part_IDs.txt listing all the CAS part IDs.

Follow the steps below to find out which content is broken

1. Copy all IDs from the invalid_CAS_part_IDs.txt, click tools, and open Hash Generator. Enter the IDs in the Hexadecimal line.
2. Copy the Decimal conversion.
3. Use Ctrl + Shift + C (Windows) to open the command console.
4. Type resource.find, then paste the decimal number.
5.  Select Ok.
6. You should receive a pop-up that tells you exactly what item this number belongs to.
7. Repeat for all affected items and remove them or the tags from each item.

You can refer to the steps while doing the process. This will guide you in handling the issue properly. You can also download and install Sims 4 studio to remove tags.

Method 4: Update your game

Sims 4 continuously releases game updates that contain patches for common errors. The Sims 4 studio has a batch to fix this error. Ensure you batch-fix all the CAS you might have recently downloaded first.

Remove any defaults that are still running and select all updates to run. With the above methods, you won’t experience any moment the game failed to save. Remember, you can always visit the Sims 4 Website for updates.

Sims with five active points or more can be specifically instructed to run rather than walk. Instructing playable Sims to skip is also possible, which is quicker than walking. Players can customize a Sim’s walking patterns in The Sims 4’s Create a Sim feature.

Several other walk styles are applicable, including the default walk style, perky walk, snobbish walk, swagger walk, feminine walk, tough walk, goofy walk, sluggish walk, and bouncing walk.

Why are Sims walking like they need to pee?

The autonomous action for Sims in the winter when there is a blizzard is to rush inside, although their behavior is the same as when they need to urinate on a very low bladder. It is also apparent during thunderstorms in a different save.

The Sims briefly have the pee walk style when they enter the house from the cold. This takes place at home. The Sims do not run into the house when the action to do so is queued up; instead, they walk like they need to go to the bathroom.

Do my Sims have a bladder problem?

If they are weary or their bladder need is low, Sims in The Sims 4 will walk differently than their preferred walk style. Strong emotions like anger will also alter the way Sims walk.

However, until EA releases a statement, we won’t know where this bug has come from. Many say it has something to do with the “Tense” emotional state that Sims might experience. Users have referred to this malfunction as a game-breaking problem.

Why is my Sim stuck in the bathroom?

The most common reason is when the door freezes when a Sim is taking a shower. A bug could impact the bathroom door.

Many users have repeatedly noticed it, and there are two ways you can fix the issue. One is to enter Build or Buy, pick up the bathroom door, and replace it. However, you must do this after each time a sim takes a shower.

While it worked, you could also replace the bathroom door with a different kind of door. This will instantly make the Sims function properly. Additionally, deleting the door or even removing it and putting it back in again may work.

To get Juggernaut armor, start The Mage’s Treasure mission. In this mission, there are 4 sites containing tombstones in the initial section of the quest. The conversation option “Disturb the wards” should be available when interacting with the gravestone. The conversation helps unlock items. 

Go to the following tombstone if the choice is not present.

• The northern region of the map is East Breciliant Forest: The Mad Hermit is not far from it. Normally, this tombstone permits the beginning of the quest. The adversaries will drop Juggernaut Plate Boots.

• The southern region of the map, East Breciliant Forest: You must pass over the magical barrier. Enemies will spawn when you disturb the Wards on the tombstone. Juggernaut Plate Gloves should be dropped.
• Eastern section of the West Brecilian Forest: Find a gravestone, then engage with it. Check the first and second steps if there isn’t a “Disturb the Wards” option right away. When you succeed, adversaries will appear, and you can loot their Juggernaut Helm.

Getting the armor from the Lower Ruins is the last phase. To do this, look for a tablet in the nearby sarcophagi (A Carved Elven Tablet). When you have the tablet in your possession, move forward until you reach a location with a pool, an altar, and a huge metal closed door. Doors will open and lead to a hallway.

Take the Juggernaut Armor from the sarcophagus after you vanquish the adversaries.

What is a Juggernaut helmet?

A unique type of headgear called a Juggernaut’s Helmet is made to shield its user from any telepathy. Under his helmet, which is made of the same metal as Magneto’s, he wears a skull cap made of metal that deflects psi-energy.

His recognizable heavy armor shields him from physical and psychic threats, and he is as strong as the guy himself.

Players can also use the charmer to shield themselves from slime debuffs. These debuffs are health decreases or gains resulting from contact with slimes. How to use a Slime Charmer Ring is quite easy.

To get the Slime Charmer Ring, you have to kill 1,000 slimes. But you can also spawn it through these methods:

• Spawning the ring using the animal’s name.
• Using characters’ names to spawn the rings.

The two methods will result in slimes charmer rings but at different rates. Here is a detailed explanation of these steps.

Method 1: How to spawn a Slime Charmer Ring using an animal name

To spawn a Slime Ring using an animal name, follow these steps:

1. Head over to Marnie’s ranch and speak to Marnie (Marnie’s ranch is located northeast of Cindersap forest).
2. Purchase an animal from Marnie
3. After the purchase, name the animal 520 and press ok
4. You will instantly receive a Slime Charmer Ring item

You’ll benefit by buying a cheap animal as it offers the same slime value as any other animal. Be at liberty to find out which animal Marnie sells at the lowest price you can get and go for it.

Method 2: How to get a Slime Ring using character names.

This is one of the ways to get a Slime Charmer Ring fast in Stardew Valley. This method is great when initiating the game, as you can only select a character name once.

1. Start up a new game
2. Name your character with up to three distinct IDs with unique characters. The ID example is [645]
3. Find a villager who will have a dialogue with you (ensure you converse with a villager who will say your name)

It’s a tool that helps you learn things in a fun way, but to join a live game, you must enter a code.

How do you get a Blooket code?

Blooket will periodically host its official, public games for anybody to join if interested. For these, you can use six static codes to join. The codes are often available on Blooket and can change from time to time.

On the other hand, privately hosted and manually run Blooket games will automatically produce a six-digit, temporary game ID code for the students to join. The host has to share the code for you to join the game.

How do you get a live Blooket code?

As I’ve explained above, you can either use the static Blooket codes or those provided by your host to join a live game.

Note that these codes only function when a room is active. If it ends, the code won’t work. This is something you should keep in mind.

Even though there aren’t always activities, Blooket’s dashboard will announce upcoming quiz events under the news category.

How do you join a Blooket game without a code?

You’ll need a Blooked ID code to join a game. These codes will be displayed during a live match, or you can utilize codes that other players have shared to play.

The host generates codes during a live match, and as new codes take their place, the old codes might no longer function.

Therefore, join the match using the updated code. The current code for the game will be replaced as soon as the host develops a new one.

Noteworthy, it causes previous household members not to be able to enter the house without an invite. You will not get options either when you click on the sim.

One potential reason is that the sim became caught in a loop due to a game glitch. The sim might have unintentionally been transferred to a different family in another scenario.

The Sims 4 neighbors bug can be fixed through the following steps:

1. Invite the Sim to your home

Since the sim can’t enter your house, you must invite them in. Click on the sim you want to return to your household and then the invite button.

When the sim returns to your house, it will become a household member again.

2. Have a household sim interact with the now-neighbor sim

One thing we noticed with this bug is that whenever a household member interacts with the sim that has now been labeled neighbor, they are converted back to being a household member.

You should either have another household sim invite the sim or send another sim to interact with the incorrectly tagged sim. Once they interact, you should move the family back to their original lot using the Go Home command or Send Everyone Home commands.

3. Reload the game

Reloading the game works in some instances. Make sure to save your progress, exit the game, close it, and reopen it.

Since you are dealing with a bug, the issue is likely to resolve by reopening the game. If this method doesn’t solve the error or if it only does so temporarily, then proceed to the next.

4. Move the sim back to its original household

If the sim has been moved to a different household by mistake, you can try moving them back to its original household.

To do this, go to the household management menu and select the sim, then choose the option to move them back to their original household.

5. Try repairing the game

If none of the above steps work, you may need to try repairing the game. To do this, go to the game’s installation folder and locate the “Repair” option.

Some residential lots were converted to generic ones after the patch, although residents remained. You have to modify it again to make it residential.

I had the mods already active, so my first step was deactivating them before reactivating them to show you how it is done.

Now, when it rains, you will see snow and sleet instead of rain.

I find common hard-to-forget or miss key controls the easiest for such a popular action. Each key toggles the corresponding blinker on and off.

My setup goes with:

• [ for left blinkers. Since this square bracket is left-sided, it made it easier to remember blinker direction
• ] for right blinkers. The exact opposite of the above and just next to it on my keyboard. Hard to miss

How to Set Blinker Keys on ETS2

• Launch the game and go to the pause menu
• Select options, then Keys & Buttons

• Scroll down until you find the Left-Turn indicator and Right-Turn indicator
• Click on the Primary key binding option for one (start with Left-Turn) it will turn yellow when ready for you to press the key you want to assign

• Press the key you want to assign on the keyboard ([ for me)
• Repeat the same for Right-Turn and select another key
• Hit escape to go to the save menu and select drive to get to your truck.
• Pressing the selected Left-Turn key should activate the left blinker and the ticker sound in the cab. Press the key again to turn it off.
• The same applies to the Right-Turn key

Setting headlights control shortcuts to your preferred keys will make them easier to remember making light management a breeze.

Since shortcuts vary from gamer to gamer, I will show you how to assign three primary light controls in the game using my favorite key combinations:

• L: This toggles light modes. For turning on parking lights/daytime running lights, Low beams, and turning everything off
• K: For turning on the high beams
• J: For flashing lights when you want to pass, greet someone or tell another driver they’re being a maniac

Note that I have kept my light controls in a tight cluster next to the L key, which is very easy to associate with Lights.

Assigning Key Bindings to Control Lights in ETS2

Launch the game and enter the pause menu

• Click on options
• Select Keys & Buttons Option

• In the list, scroll down until you find Light Modes and High Beam Headlights

• Click on the Primary Key option for Light modes
• The Current field will change color to Yellow, and you will get a prompt to Press the key you want to bind to the action. Mine was already L, and I hit L again on the keyboard

• Do the same for High beam Headlights.
• You don’t have to use my letters. You can use your own.

Turning on the Headlights

Hit escape to go to the pause menu and click Drive to go back to driving your truck. You are now ready to control the headlights

• You can turn on the parking lights with the engine switched off by hitting L (or the key you chose above) once
• Turn on the engine for the next two light modes. You can’t turn the lights on with the engine off
• Hit L (or your chosen Light Modes key) again with the parking lights already on to turn on the Low beams
• Hit the Lights Mode key the third time to turn the lights off
• With the Low beams on, hit your chosen key for High Beam Headlights (K for me), and the high beams will turn on. Hit the key again to turn them off

At this time, the rest meter will be all red. It keeps track of how long you have before sleeping. The fuller it is, the closer you are to maxing out your awake time.

The rest meter is this bed with a sleeping guy icon between the Fuel icon and Message Icon

You can get detailed info on how much time you have until you sleep on the trip info menu within Trip advisor.

You bring up this section by pressing F7 (or the shown key in your game if you modified key bindings)

To replenish, you will have to find a rest area (denoted by a bed on the map) and drive there,

Park at the correct spot

Switch off your engine

Hit enter to sleep.

Don’t worry if the keys to press in the games’ prompts differ. They will vary depending on your key bindings. The basic idea is: Drive to the correct parking spot, Switch off the Engine, and Sleep.

The rest will last for 9 hours (just a couple of seconds in real life), and you will wake up with your sleep meter fully replenished and grey.

Plan Your Rests in Advance

If I have a job that will take over 10 hours, I always pop up the map (by pressing the default shortcut M on the keyboard. If you changed your key binding, use your specific one for Maps), zoom in, and identify rest areas on my route.

I will then add waypoints to a spot and keep on guessing until I get a spot that is around 9 hours away from my current location. In this example, I had a short job so I will show you how toying with different sleep spots changes hours. Be careful not to choose a sleep spot on the opposite side of a dual carriage way. You will unnecessarily add time to your trip.

This way, I’ll never get caught off guard with no resting area nearby.

Does Taking the Ferry Give You Rest?

Yes, taking the ferry lets you sleep. You will gain sleep or rest hours that are equivalent to the ferry trip duration. If your route takes you through a ferry and you can get to the ferry before your sleep is due, please make sure you select a resting spot after the ferry ride to avoid wasting valuable time.

Why Can’t I Get the Rest Dialog When in a Rest Area?

You won’t get the Rest prompt when parked wrong in a resting area. I found that the best way to always get the prompt is ensuring the entire tractor (head section) of the truck is in the marked-out resting spot.

If you choose an area where the whole truck and trailer can’t fit (for instance, angle parking), drive in forward and avoid reverse parking. Align the truck perfectly, and you will get the prompt.

How to Disable Sleep in ETS2

While fatigue makes Euro Truck Simulator 2 more realistic, it could be a bother if you only want to haul cargo and maximize profits.

Luckily, you can disable it in the settings menu.

• Go to the pause menu
• Click on options then select Gameplay in the ensuing menu

• Uncheck fatigue simulation

Today I am going to show you how to install mods in Mac OS

The Procedure is:

1. Download the mod file
2. Extract it
3. Copy it to the mod file in your file system
4. Activate it in the game

Let’s Go!

I Get my mods from https://ets2.lt/

Find a mod you want, I am going with the sounds mod. It makes the game sound more realistic

Scroll down to the download buttons.

• Option 1: From steam. — you have to sign into your steam account
• Option 2: a Mirror — easier, download from an ad run server (sharemods)

Use option two. I find it easier. Though getting stuff from steam is safer in the long run.

My download is ready

Now to launch the correct folder to add the .scs mod file to in your Mac

• Open Finder
• Press and hold the Option on the Keyboard
• Click on Go
• Click on Library

Then Navigate to Application Support > Euro Truck Simulator 2 > Mod Folder

Time to extract the Mod we downloaded

• It has American Truck Simulator
• Euro Truck Simulator
• Scania Truck Driving Simulator

Open the Euro Truck Simulator folder and copy or move there

Sound fixes pack -ETS2.scs file to your mod folder that we opened before.

I moved mine, that is why you can no longer see it there.

Now Launch the game to activate the mod

The mod file you added should show in the mod section of the launch screen, as shown

Select it and move it to the active mods section, then click apply settings to finish activating the mod!

I assume that you have the game installed on Mac OS. I have mine installed from Steam, but I don’t think that makes a difference.

We want the music to show up in this menu in the game.

Adding Music Files to the Music Folder

First, you will need the music to add. You can use any of your favorite tunes but I am grabbing a copyright-free song on the YouTube audio library.

You will be surprised how many good songs exist here. I’ll take the first one from King Canyon. Ice & Fire.

As it downloads, I’ll show you where I will put it.

The Library/Euro Truck Simulator/Music Folder

Normally, on Mac OS, the Library folder is hidden. To make it show, press the Options Key as you Click on Go under finder

Watch me:

• Launch Finder
• Hover over the Go menu
• Press and Hold Option key on the keyboard
• Click Go

With Option still held down, move down to the library and click on it

Once in the Library folder, navigate to

Applications Support > Euro Truck Simulator 2 > Music

Copy or move your music to the folder

Launch the game and use the navigation menu in the game to launch the music player

Your added music will be in the list, and you can play it as you please.

The default shortcut to launch music in the game is R

Add a Radio Stream

If you have a stable internet connection and want tot stream music live from a radio station, you can click the stream option. Load streams from the internet and Rock On!

I’ll stick to using YouTube Audio Library tunes since I am a streamer
